Stephanie Hedges

Stephanie joined the animal industry as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 1992, and spent 20 years working in first opinion, referral and emergency and critical care practice. Alongside this she studied applied animal behaviour at the University of Southampton and started to accept canine behaviour referrals in 2006. She continued to work as a veterinary nurse alongside her behaviour practice until 2010 when she became a full time free-lance Clinical Animal Behaviourist. She was accepted as a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) in 2013. Stephanie is a regular speaker at academic conferences, and a frequent contributor to the veterinary press and academic text books. Her particular area of interest is what we can learn from the behaviour of street dogs and other dogs living without the control of humans.
